Yangon - Bago - Kyaikhtiyo - Mawlamyine - - Yangon - Bagan - Ppoa - Monywa - Sagaing - Amarapura - Inle Lake - Indein - Yangon

Day 1Yangon/arrival

In the morning arrive at Yangon International Airport. Meet with your guide and transfer to hotel for check-in. Then in the afternoon visit Yangon sightseeing including Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda, downtown area, Kandawgyi park and the most famous Shwedagon Pagoda at the sunset time to. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2Yangon-Bago-Kyaikhtiyo

After breakfast drive to Kyaikhtiyo (appro: 4 hours). On the way visit Bago, an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century. Visit Shwe-tha-lyaung reclining Buddha(55 meters long), Shwe maw daw Pagoda, Hinthagone pagoda, 28 metre high huge Buddha image of Kyaikpun pagoda. Then drive to Kyaikhtiyo. Afternoon arrive the Kimpun base camp and take the open truck to go up till Hermit Hill. From Hermit Hill we have to walk up about 1 hour to reach the Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Kyaikhtiyo, mystical pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder, precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 1100 km above sea –level. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3Kyaikhtiyo-Mawlamyine

After breakfast take the truck to base camp. From base camp drive to Mawlamyine(3 hours). Mawlamyine is the third largest city in Myanmar after Yangon and Mandalay situated 165 kilometers east of the nation's capital across the Gulf of Mottama at the mouth of the Thanlwin river. It is the capital of Mon State with a population of almost 300,000 people. Formerly known as Moulmein, it was once a thriving teak port and the administrative capital of British Lower Burma. Afternoon arrive and check-in hotel. Evening visit Kyaikthanlan pagoda built in 875 AD and thought to be the site from where Rudyard Kipling wrote his famous poem, 'The Road to Mandalay'. Mahamuni pagoda and walking along the strand road.Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 4Mawlamyine

Full day of sightseeing in and around Mawlamyine, visit the local market and then continue to famous small town of Mudon (20km -1hour). On the way visit the largest reclining Buddha image in the world, Win Sein Taw Ya, is situated about 20 km south of Mawlamyine on the main road to Mudon. Stop at Kyaukdalone, a Buddhist stupa and a Hindu temple facing each other. and Seindon Mibaya Kyaung, where King Mindon's wife sought refuge. In the evening take a small boat to cross the other side of river and visit Gaung Se island literally means 'head medicine' or shampoo in Myanmar language and 'kyun' means island thus giving rise to its English name of Shampoo Island. It has been given this name from the Ava period when water from a spring on this island was used in the annual royal hair washing ceremony. The island also has a Buddhist meditation centre. Overnight in Mawlamyine.

Day 5Mawlamyine- Hpa an

In the morning after breakfast drive to Hpa-an, the capital city of Kayin State. On the way to Hpa-an visit Kha Yon and Kawkung caves where you can see the full of Buddha images. Arrive Hpa-an and Lunch. Afternoon visit the iconic sights of Mt Zwe Kabin, whose foothills are lined with thousands of identical Buddha statues and the 'Cave of Ten Thousand Buddhas', Kyaukkalat, market and enjoy sunset from Shwe Saryan pagoda just beside the river. Overnight in Hpa-an.

Day 6Hpa An-Yangon

Morning drive to Thaton, on the way visit Bayin Nyi cave and then drive to Thaton, former capital of the Mon Kingdom. Afternoon arrive back Yangon and check-in hotel. Evening relax and overnight in Yangon.

Day 7Yangon-Bagan

In the morning transfer to Yangon airport to take the flight to Bagan(appro:1:15 hours). On arrival transfer to hotel and check-in. And then start Bagan sightseeing included Nyaung.U market, Shwezigon pagoda, Gubyaukkyi temple, Htilominlo temple, Shwegugyi temple, Ananda temple. Lunch. In the afternoon visit the famous lacquer ware workshop. Then visit Manuha temple, Nanpapaya, Gubyaukkyi temple. Enjoy sunset from the top of famous Shwe San Taw pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 8Bagan-Popa-Bagan

After break drive to Mt.Popa (about 1:15 hours). Mt.Popa is an extinct vocalno and also known as the home of 37 Myanmar Nats. Mt.Popa area is like the oasic in the dry region of Myanmar. On arrival of Mt.Popa we visit the shrine of 37 Nats. Then have to go up over 700 steps to reach the top of table-mountain. On the way back to Bagan, we can visit the farms beside the rode to see how to produce the brown sugar from palm juice, penut oil, seasam. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 9Bagan-Monywa

After breakfast drive to Monywa (about 4 hours). On the way to Monywa, we can visit some local village to see the daily life of Myanmar local people. Monywa is the main commercial and the biggest town in the North-west of Myanmar and connect with India border. Around Monywa we can visit Alantayar Buddha images, the huge standing buddha image (600 feet height), and reclining buddha image of 450 feet long. Then visit famous Than Buddha temple which has about 600,000 Buddha images. Overnight in Monywa.

Day 10Monywa-Sagaing-Mandalay

After breakfast drive to Sagaing (about 3 ½ hours). At Sagaing visit Umin Thonese Pagodas, Ponnyashin Pagpda at the top of Sagaing Hill. We can visit also the silver smith workshop. Lunch and then drive to Mandalay. Check in hotel and evening visit Shwenandaw monastery,Kuthoday pagoda, Atumashi monastery and enjoy the very nice view of the city from very famous Mandalay Hill at sunset time. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 11Mandalay-Mingun-Amarapura-Mandalay

In the morning drive to jetty to take the boat trip to Mingun (appr:1 hour). On arrival Mingun, visit Mingun Pagoda, Mingun bell, the biggest ringing bell of the world, Myatheintan pagoda. Then take boat back to Mandalay. In the afternoon visit Mahamuni Buddha image, the most famous Buddha of Mandalay and people believe that Buddha image alive. Then continue to Amarapura and visit famous U Pein bridge, famous silk weaving factory. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 12Mandalay-Heho- Inle Lake

After breakfast drive to Mandalay airport to take the flight to Heho (appr:20 minutes). On arrival drive to Inle lake and visit including famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, floating gardens, Ywa Ma village where we can see some long necked tribe people from other region, paper umbrella making, Inn Paw Knone Village where can see the silk and cotton weaving. Famous Nga Phae Chaung monastery, one of the old monasteries around Inle Lake and now like museum of old Buddha alters. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 13Inle Lake-Indein-Inle lake

In the morning take the boat to visit the market day village. In Inle lake region market day is every five day.Not everyday in one village. Market day is interesting, can see different varieties of real local products, alive fish, barber shops, black smith shop and etc..... Then go to Indein pagodas, thousands of ancient pagodas beside of the hill and those were lost in jungle for centuries. Overnight in Inle Lake.

Day 14Inle-Yangon

In the morning transfer to airport to take the flight back to Yangon. On arrival, visit famous Bogyoke market, in the evening visit downtown area, Kandawgyi park. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 15Yangon/ departure

In the morning transfer to Yangon airport to take the departure flight.
